Open up a terminal window on a Unix-type system and enter the following: 

for i in `seq 1 100000`; do X=`date +%s`; echo $X; if [ "$X" == "1234567890" ]; then exit; fi; sleep 1; done

This will show the seconds/time going up to 1234567890 and then stop. 1234567890 will be reached at Friday, Feb 13 at exactly 3:31:30 PM (PST)
